Absolute chaos After a man was found dead in his toilet in the early hours of today, May 29, a riot erupted in the Ijoko region of Ogun state.
When the deceased, simply identified as Mr. Nnanna, was not seen for approximately a week, inhabitants of the property where the event occurred began to think something was wrong.
When a foul odor emanated from the couple’s chamber, their suspicions mounted.
The compound’s landlord said he and other occupants contacted the woman this morning and inquired about her husband’s whereabouts. The mother, who looks to be mentally ill, closed the door in their faces and stated he was alright.
The landlord claimed they insisted the man had died since the unpleasant odor remained and insects began to congregate around their apartment’s windows.
They immediately contacted the vigilante members of the neighborhood, who arrived and pushed the door of the couple’s flat open, where they discovered the guy lying deceased in the toilet, according to the landlord.
His wife was sleeping in the same residence as her late husband’s body.
Attempts to interview the woman about her husband’s death were unsuccessful since she sounded disoriented and appeared fatigued.
