The Newly Appointed Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, wants Cristiano Ronaldo to stay at the club next season, according to the UK Telegraph.
Despite the Red Devils’ poor campaign, Ronaldo has managed to score 24 goals in all competitions.
Including no Champions League football on offer next season, however, Ronaldo is yet to make a difficult decision on his future.
Ronaldo has over 12 months to run on the two-year deal he signed last August and Ten Hag wants to retain the Portugal captain’s unique goalscoring talents, even if he may not be ideally suited to the style of football he wishes to implement.
